Design : The Co-operative Day Commemoratives show a bouquet of ten roses as their motif. This is to represent the basic principle of the Co-operative Movement that at least ten persons must get together to form a co-operative society. The illustration also emphasizes mutuality of efforts and identity of individuals and gives practical demonstration of the fact that ‘united effort’ brings forth the best results. The motto of the Co-operatives EACH FOR ALL AND ALL FOR EACH is also shown therein.
