- In the memory of His Majesty late King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah Dev Tribhuvan University was established on July, 1959 corresponding to Ashadh Shukla Nawami (30th Ashadh 2016 B.S.). The University is actively engaged in the development of education in Nepal.
