About : 

  • Yogiji Maharaj was born in Dhari, a small village in Saurashtra Gujarat in 1892. After a quite childhood one of silent spiritual rhythm he became a saint at the age of 18. With a genuine concern with the troubles and emotions of every individual in society, Swamiji moved day and night to heel all scars of tension and anxiety and to re-introduce in their life a secured feeling of joy, peace and satisfaction. He was appointed as the President of the Akshar Purushottam Swami Narayan Movement.
  • He led an austere life without personal gains or comforts. He travelled untiringly from tiny tribal hut to modern metropolis to proximate to the people the tremendous moral and spiritual power that rushed through him. People were freed from the clutches of addictions, superstitions, inordinate worldly desires, false beliefs and dogmas. He inspired country’s youth to lead a life free from vices and addictions. He also inspired hundreds of thousands of people to eradicate the vice of dowry from the society.
  • Under his guidance many schools, hostels and Gurukuls have been established and charity have been given to some medical and electronics institutes. Regular conventions for youths and children, teachers and leaders are being held. Irrespective of cast creed colour in our community, his holiness Yogiji Maharaj inspired youths to undertake drives to eradicate illiteracy superstitions, addictions dowry and set example in harmonious living and peaceful camaraderie. His striking sincerity, humility and simplicity have touched many world political and religious leaders. But to one and all his message has remained one and unchanging ‘The Message of Love and purity and service to God’.
