About :
- After Bhanu Bhakta, ‘Kavisiromani‘ Lekhnath Paudyal occupies the next place of reverence in the history of Nepali literature. Born in December 1884, he started scribbling poems while he was in his early teens. As a matured and talented writer he served the national language continuously for five decades. It is Pt. Lekhnath who lifted Nepali poetry above simple versification and give it depth, rhythm and refinement. In fact, he was the pioneer of modernity in this field.
