The cow – the sacred animal of the Hindus – is depicted in 2 paisa Stamps. She is the national animal of Nepal and is worshipped today throughout the Kingdom as the goddess of wealth.
The Yak featured in R. 3.25 Stamps is the beast of burden found in the Himalayan region. This rare and valuable animal is world famous for its rich milk, hair and bushy tail.
