About :
- Social Services National Coordination Council was established in the year 1977 to strengthen the social and voluntary organisations which function with the spirit of service and bring coordination in the activities of the various organisations established with the sole objective of public welfare programme undertaken to preserve and promote the interest and economic well-being of the people belonging to different classes.
- The council organises a social service day all over the country with various activities to highlight the importance of those organisations and make public aware of their role towards national reconstruction programme.
