- Bir Hospital was established during the reign of late His Majesty King Prithivi Bir Bikram Shah Dev in 1947 B.S. It was established by the then Prime Minister Bir Shumsher JBR of Nepal. This institution has been the pioneer allopathic medical hospital of the country which is now trying to provide health services to the general public, using latest technology and equipments.
