Design : The stamp is vertical and rectangular-shaped. ‘শহীদ স্মরণে’ (in memory of the martyrs) is written in Bengali in the red panel at the top of the stamp. ‘শহীদ মিনার’ (Shaheed Minar) is drawn in the middle with a red background and deep green surrounding. In the left ‘২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারী’ (21 February) – in the right ‘ভাষা আন্দোলন’ (Language Movement) – in the bottom ‘বাংলাদেশ’ (Bangladesh) and the denomination is mentioned at both sides in both English and Bengali.
নক্শা : ডাক-টিকিটের আকার লম্বাকৃতি আয়তক্ষেত্র-বিশিষ্ট। উপরিভাগে লাল প্যানেলের মধ্যে বাংলায় লিখিত ‘শহীদ স্মরণে’। মধ্যস্থলে লাল পটভূমিতে অংকিত ‘শহীদ মিনার’। চতুষ্পার্শে গাঢ় সবুজ। বাম পার্শ্বে ‘২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারী’ – ডান পার্শ্বে ‘ভাষা আন্দোলন’ – তলদেশে ‘বাংলাদেশ’ এবং উহার উভয় পার্শ্বে ডাক-টিকিটের মূল্য ইংরাজী ও বাংলায় লিখিত।
