About :
- Started in July 1907 by Lord Baden–Powell with a group of boys at Brownsea Island in British Poole harbour, scouting to-day exists in almost all countries of the world as a universally accepted technique of training new budding generation in good citizenship. In Nepal, Scouting officially commenced in June 1952 and geared-up to a new spirit and movement since June 1959 when H. R. H. Crown Prince Birendra assumed the role of Chief Scout of the country.
