About :
- This present Traditional Painting dates back to 13th century and has been taken from the book cover of “Shiva Dharma Purana” preserved in the National Art Gallery, Bhaktapur.
- In this painting, varied forms of Maheshwara (Lord Shiva) have been shown. In the middle of the stamp strip scene of Brahma and Vishnu offering flower to phallus (Shivalinga) placed on lotus flower has been depicted.
