About :
- Falgun 7, 2032 (Feb. 19, 1976) marks the 25th Year of the ushering in of democracy in Nepal following the successful conclusion of the historic revolution of 2007 B.S. (1950-51 A.D.) under the sublime leadership of the Father of the nation, His late Majesty King Tribhuwan Bir Bikrama Shah Dev and other members of the Royal family. Because of his steadfast dedication to the cause of democracy before, during and since the great revolution the grateful people of Nepal have come to regard Tribhuwan and Democracy as synonymous terms. Fittingly enough the anniversary of this great day is being observed this year as the silver jubilee of the Tribhuwan Memorial and National Democracy Day throughout the kingdom.
