About :
- Nepal Red Cross Society was established on 4th September, 1963 and was recognised by International Committee of the Red Cross on 1st October 1964. Its objectives lie in working with the principles of Red Cross without any discrimination of religion, caste, creed, colour, nationality, sex and political ideology.
- It has been operating welfare schemes like natural calamity relief, blood transfusion service, ambulance service and basic health services and community development programmes through its branch offices.
