A great fair is held every year on Haribodhini Ekadashi (awakening of Lord Vishnu on the eleventh day of bright fortnight in the month of October November) and Makar Sankranti (the first day of the month when the sun enters Capricornus). On this occasion thousands of pilgrims even from neighbouring country congregate here.
    • In this present postage stamp the image of Lord Hrishikesh artistically made of black stone has been depicted.
  • Tripura Sundari, Baitadi:-
    • The famous temple of Goddess Tripura Sundari is situated on a beautiful hillock in Pujara village of Baitadi district in Mahakali zone. This goddess is also known as Rana Shaini Bhagavati. A great fair is held every year for nine days during Durga Puja festival and Eight day of dark fortnight in the month of Kartik i.e. October.
