Issued for : A postage stamp was issued to mark the “Human Rights Week” which was held in Japan from December 4 to 10, 1978. The Declaration of Human Rights was accepted at the 3^rd General Assembly of the United Nations on the 10^th December, 1948. From the next year, Human Rights Week continues up to the present in Japan.
