Design : The stamp issued to mark the 43rd birth anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Ratna Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah, also observed as the 6th National Children’s Day, features Her Majesty’s inset portrait and the beautiful newly constructed Bal Mandir (Children’s Palace) in Taulihawa, Lumbini Zone. The design symbolises various national projects and programmes for raising the social, educational, moral and physical level of Nepalese children initiated by the Nepal Children’s Organisation under the able guidance and leadership of Her Majesty.
