About : 

  • AIDS is a fatal disease caused by HIV virus transmitted by sexual contact, contaminated blood, needle and other skin piercing instruments. Also, to newborn from infected mother. But it is not transmitted by social contacts, food, drinks and insects etc. At present there is no vaccine or medicine available to prevent and cure AIDS. Therefore, for safety one has to have a faithful relationship with only one partner. Use of condom can protect from AIDS.
